In this episode of the CYLS, Dr. Raphael Moffett details his experience battling & conquering colon cancer while working as a full-time University Vice President of Student Affairs, father & Husband. He gives tips on finding strength & the importance of striving to Create Your Life every day.
According To Dr. Moffett these are the 3 most difficult things that people have a hard time saying:
- I love you
- can you help me
- I’m sorry
During his battle with cancer he humbled himself and learned the importance of all 3 and encourages us all to say them to those we love and come in contact with during our life times.
Dr. Moffet encourages everyone to:
- Believe in the can instead of the how because the “Can” is an attitude that will take you to wherever you desire and help you Create Your Life.
- Believe with a period instead of with a comma. If you believe with a period you are committed and you have made a decision. Belief with a comma allows excuses in and stifles growth.
